MCT or Medium Chain Triglycerides are fatty acids of a certain length, as their name suggests. MCT oil is an oil consisting of one or more of these medium chain triglycerides and is a translucent, tasteless liquid at room temperature. All fats are composed of carbon and hydrogen, but vary in length. By definition, ‘short chain’ fatty acids have 5 or less carbons, medium chains 6-12 and long chain fatty acids more than 12. Medium-chain triglycerides are considered easily digestible and beneficial fats, and instead of being metabolized through digestion like most other foods, these fats are treated in the liver. MCTs provide fast, long-lasting energy and are easily absorbed by the body.

The unique structure of medium chain fatty acids makes them useful in several ways:

1. Easier to digest

MCTs can go directly from the digestive system to the bloodstream without being altered by digestion. This makes them easier to digest and use than long chain fatty acids.

Because MCTs are so easy to absorb and use, they are often a good choice for those struggling with digestive problems, fat absorption or lack of gallbladder.

2. Good energy source

Because MCTs are processed in the liver, they are absorbed quickly and provide rapid, sustained energy.

Unlike almost all other foods, MCTs do not require energy to be absorbed, stored or used in the body, making them an almost perfect source of natural energy.

3. Support Hormones

Since fats are needed for proper hormone creation and balance in the body, MCT can offer special advantages for those who struggle against hormone imbalance.

There is also research that suggests that medium chain fats can be helpful in maintaining a healthy weight, helping balance hormones and improving insulin sensitivity.

4. Intestinal Health

MCTs have antiviral and antibacterial properties and there is some evidence to help balance intestinal bacteria and fight pathogenic bacteria. When used with a healthy diet, MCTs can help improve bowel health over time.

5. Immune Health

The same antiviral and antibacterial properties make MCT beneficial for the immune system. Healthy fats are important for proper immune function.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid of cannabis.  It has relaxing, anticonvulsant, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory effects, promotes sleep and is relaxing against anxiety and panic.

CBD crystals are isolated and purified extracts of cannabis, the CBD used in our crystals comes from EU certified hemp using the CO2 Supercritical method.

A second purification is then carried out, separating the CBD from the other remaining phytonutrients until the desired purity is achieved.

1. Reduces pain and inflammation

CBD crystals are mainly used for pain relief. Research shows that cannabinoids inhibit the transmission of pain in the brain. Thus it can be used to treat chronic pain, for example in patients with multiple sclerosis.

2. Has antipsychotic effects

CBD has been tested in patients with schizophrenia showing good results. It appears to have similar effects to behavioral and antipsychotic drugs that prevent episodes of psychosis.

3. Helps reduce anxiety

Clinical studies have shown that CBD crystals have similar effects to anxiolytics, and reduce anxiety in people.

4. Contrasts with epilepsy

CBD has been used to treat epilepsy by effectively reducing the number of seizures in patients.

5. Reduces the incidence of diabetes

A study published in the American Journal of Medicine in 2013 showed that marijuana users had lower fasting insulin levels.

6. Promotes cardiovascular health

Some reports claim that CBD protects against cardiovascular disease, inflammation or induction of diabetes.

The use of CBD crystals has several advantages. Because these crystals contain only CBD and practically nothing else, they are very easy to dose.

For example, using a kitchen scale, you can measure 10 milligrams of CBD crystals.

This ensures that you are getting exactly 10 milligrams of compound without added fillers or impurities that can change the effects of the product.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis. Research has shown that CBG can have positive effects on human health, in particular:

1. Glaucoma Treatment

CBG reduces intraocular pressure by increasing the drainage of eye fluid.

2. Antitumor property

Especially in cases of colon, prostate, skin and breast cancer.

3. Neuro-protective properties

4. Anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties

5. Psoriasis treatment Inhibits proliferation of keratinocytes. Antiinflammatory, analgesic, antifungal, antibiotic.

Terpenes are non-psychoactive organic molecules found in cannabis plants. They are responsible for the different odours, tastes and effects. Marijuana terpenes influence taste and aroma, and by mapping the terpene profile of a plant, we can have better visibility on how to influence its taste and smell.

The reason the medical marijuana industry is intrigued by terpenes is that some of them have significant medicinal value.

1. Myrcene

Myrcene has a musky and earthy taste with a slightly fruity nuance.

A powerful anti-inflammatory that relaxes muscles and acts as a sedative, analgesic (pain relief) and antibiotic.

The Limonene has an aroma of citrus, think Super Lemon Haze.

It treats bronchial infections, reduces stress, has antifungal and antibacterial properties.

Can help relieve heartburn and gastric reflux

Improves the absorption of other terpenes and chemicals through the skin, mucous membranes and digestive tract.

3. Alpha Bisabolol

Alpha Bisabolol is a flowering terpene that can also be found in chamomile.

It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, relieves skin irritation, antioxidant, anti-microbial, analgesic.

4. Borneol

Identifiable by its camphor-like smell, borneol is a medicinal super terpene. It is an antiseptic, analgesic bronchodilator and helps sleep all night long. Most haze strains contain high traces of borneol.

5. Linalool

Linalool has a floral aroma with a spicy note in taste. You can find this terpene in many plants, including mint, some flowers and cinnamon, and even some mushrooms.

Linalool helps neural function and has anti-inflammatory properties commonly used in the treatment of liver cancer and epilepsy.

Do not underestimate the importance of a good quality electronic cigarette.

It must be of medium power and operate below 4.5 volts.

The more powerful the device, the more volts are used, the higher the volts, the larger the vapor clouds will be, but this involves a waste of precious CBD and can make the liquid useless and ineffective.

One of the biggest mistakes people make with electronic cigarettes and CBD is the wrong device, either weak in power or too powerful.

The batteries of all our aromizers have low voltages, from 2 to maximum 4.5 V to vaporize the CBD at its best and maintain its properties.

(For this reason it is not recommended to vaporize CBD in MOD electronic cigarettes or at high voltages).
Lowrider and Mini allow to change the voltage according to the type of liquid, V-Fire has a preset voltage of 3.5 V.
The atomizers are 0.5 ml (always charge just over half to ensure that the liquid does not get too hot by vaporizing it) in Pyrex and Ceramica, instead of cotton and plastic that give a bad taste to the liquid loaded.
Usually after filling them 4 times they should be changed, but if you always vaporize at the lowest voltage can last longer, when the liquid starts to change flavor it is time to change them.
(It is recommended to always keep clean the base of the atomizer that is connected to the battery and do not overheat the electronic cigarette doing so many consecutive hits because the liquid can pass over the ceramic and then drink it, it is not harmful to health, but it could damage the atomizer)

There are several factors to consider, if the vaporization device is correct and the CBD is not making effect, the cause could be a too low concentration of your liquid.
CBD must be accumulated in your body before it can start to positively affect your condition, this must be accumulated in a few days, one of the reasons why we recommend you start with a high concentration.
For the CBD to be effective it is necessary to proceed as follows:
Accumulating enough of it in your system, depending on body weight, takes 200 mg over 2 days to make CBD effective.
Continue treatment with a dose that suits your needs.
Take the CBD at a minimum rate of every 3 days, since the CBD will leave your body after them.

Vexpa offers completely natural liquids/oils, instead of glycerin or VG/PG they contain C8-MCT OIL (medicinal coconut oil extract easily absorbed from the lungs, with a good taste and many therapeutic properties…) in which we dissolve 99.9% pure CBD crystals and finally add natural terpenes that reminds us of the flavours of marijuana genetics.

Vexpa oils do not have strong or bitter taste and do not pinch because compared to many other liquids, have a moderate amount of terpenes that, being natural solvents, could damage the respiratory organs.

Glycerin, if vaporized at the wrong temperature or taken too frequently, can also worsen our respiratory capacities and damage lung tissue. For this reason VEXPA has chosen C8-MCT OIL which is also used as a natural syrup/integrator and the same VEXPA oils can be taken in sublingual drops or added to foods, as well as being vaporized.

Using the pure crystals of CBD allows you to have no trace of THC in the product, to avoid problems with the law when analyzing. The CBD crystals can be dabbed to relieve headaches and migraines. (VEXPA MINI has an atomizer suitable for this type of use).

The current liquid format is 1ml in three percentages:

        15% /150mg

        30% / 300mg

        50% / 500mg

Soon we will have the classic format from 10ml to 5% /500mg
